40+2 and trying to still be patient. Doctor didn't think I'd make it to this next appointment but apparently my little girl is trying to prove him wrong.
Curious, @lulu85_18, did you just not want to be induced? I can't imagine waiting two extra weeks.
I was 42 weeks when I gave birth to my first son. Hang in there.
My doctor did a membrane sweep in the morning and I went into labor at night. Did your doctor mention that as an option?
@mamadrick, yeah, personally I didn’t want one. I wanted a natural labor and I was so worried that if I was induced, I wouldn’t be able to handle the pain. It was just personal preference. My doctor finally talked me into scheduling an induction, did a membrane sweep the same morning, and I ended up having my son that night. My induction was actually scheduled for the following morning at 6 a.m.
