I know babies eye color changes until a year (or so) but my question is, for those of you whose little ones started out…

well my oldest her eyes didn't turn brown they went a very light hazel but my middle child it was about 6 months or so and they seemed to change over night to dark brown

I read too the darker the pigment the less likely their eyes are to change

It was a slow transition for us. It turned brown from the outside in

I have dark brown eyes and my husband has this awesome blue, green, Hazel mix and so far our lo has his eye color, but I know brown is dominant so I'm just waiting for them to change, hoping they don't! They are such a pretty color! Dark blue rim, and a greenish blue middle with a light brown center. Pictures don't do it justice! Thanks ladies!

After a couple of weeks my sons turned from the bright blue to a grayish green color and around 3 months maybe 4 I put him to bed with green eyes and he woke up with brown 😢

@k_nc that's what I'm scared of! Lol I just think my eyes are soooo boring! Lol he'd be so lucky to have his dad's eyes! Plus, he looks exactly like me, I'd like him to have some of dad's features! Lol

@halifax6, that’s how I feel too! My eyes suck they’re just so bleh. My son is mixed though he’s so he got all of our hopes up thinking he’d be that kid with gorgeous Mexican skin and hair with these gorgeous colored eyes!

@k_nc lol! We're both plain and white, but my husband is from lousiana and he tans really nicely lol, but I'm a red head and super pale, and he's already got my red hair... So I hope he gets his dad's skin tone and eyes. Cause red hair, tan and blue eyes is a good combo! Lol

My daughter's eyes were dark Gray for the first 3 months. Then turned greenish Gray then now at 18months she has very light hazel eyes. Both my husband and I have dark brown eyes. So go figure lol

wondering the same! I had violet eyes as a baby and my mom said one day I woke up and they were light brown. I wonder about Madi’s eyes. They seem to be getting bluer to me

@jtaylorg Deacons are still really blue, but some lighting makes them brown. Lol. I just am excited to see what color they stay /become. He has this crazy wedge In his eye.
