@deejd, yeah agreed, mines spiteful and will either try really hard to try to come after me n make my life hell, or completely fall back.. he’s stressing me out so much trying to make me stay here just for him otherwise blah blah I hate him for even putting me in this position rn.. Courts usually always favor the mother in custody battles unless the mother is proven unfit which you are not. You don't even have to let him see him at all, you can try to get full custody too and if that doesn't work out in your favor then the most he'll get is visitation rights but you can ask for them to be supervised. Like I told you the other day, record everything he does and what he says and use it against him to help your case even more

This sounds like mine rn... and my baby isn’t born yet, i don’t have a job and he’s trying to hold that against me, but he’s drinking, smoking, pills, and calls me ungrateful for going to baby doctor appointments.. n taking me to the hospital when I had contractions at 30 weeks.. sounds like he really cares right.. but between theses things, I’m scared he will get more custody then I’d like if it comes down to it..

Make sure you document every single thing you see him do.. every time you hear he is out doing anything illegal.. every time any words are exchanged between you two try and text so it’s all there in writing.. also track back to the last time he was involved or saw your child.. every little thing you can keep track of do it.. in the end it will all come back to bite him in the ass ❤️ good luck momma!

@deejd just go in to the courthouse tell them that he's suing you for custody give them his name and whatever else information you have about him that you can give if they need it and tell them that you want counter-sue and they will give you the paperwork to fill out.

He would have to prove you are unfit.. I doubt he can prove it

Assuming what you've posted is accurate, there's no judge on this planet that would deem the B.D. more worthy than you as thele parent 😲

It sounds to me like you are on the right path. The courts generally do 50/50 but it sounds like your son’s father doesn’t want to be responsible and take care of him. I don’t think you have anything to worry about!!!
