When y’all were in labor, did y’all all feel the tightness when having a contraction??
I’ve been having menstrual cramp since yesterday morning, and overnight they got a lot stronger and intense. However, I don’t feel the tightening. I feel my back burning, then it wraps to the front and the cramps very intense, just wouldn’t describe it as a tightening feeling.
@kambam, @mckennasmommy, well hopefully tonight or tomorrow this stubborn girl will decide she’s ready to come. Thanks ladies(:
@selena_lalu mine were 7-8 mins apart but I live almost an hr away. Mine started on Mothers Day morning but I didn't know they were contractions and kept getting closer and stronger and went in that night.
Sounds like you're getting close to labor. If you have a yoga ball do some bouncing or edge of bed bouncing. Take an easy walk if you can.
@mckennasmommy, how close in timing were yours when they decided to tell you to go in?
Mine aren’t consistent yet. One hour they will be 8 minutes apart for 20-30 second, the next hour they will be 10 mins apart, then for a few hrs they will just be random and very spread out. Their not consistent or close in time, but since yesterday morning that have grown intense and are starting to hurt instead of just be uncomfortable.
@2016stacys, @kalidream, okay good to know. I know these contractions are the start and early labor, but I was just curious if every single person felt tightening.
I feel like I won’t know when it’s forsure time to go to the hospital if they feel like this or even get worse in pain. I know they say every five minutes for one whole minute for an hour. I just don’t want to overstep then not be dilated enough or even in true labor, if that makes sense.
I did with my first one but with my 2nd I was having the same thing your describing so I timed mine and called the hosp and they told me I was having back labor and told me to go in.
Sounds like possible back labor. I felt pretty much like this and that’s what I had. I didn’t feel the tightness until the end.
@selena_lalu Welcome! Have my fingers crossed for ya! Keep us updated!
