@annarizzo123 my sons on Alimentum if you haven't tried that.

@annarizzo123 that's how i found out my son had reflux. woke up in the middle of the night to feed him, he ate & burped.. We were going back to bed & i looked down, he was purple. It's called periodic breathing.. So he holds his breath & i literally freak out everytime he does it.

@xoamby, my son holds his breath it’s so scary he flails his arms I’m paranoid I won’t wake up when he does it

@annarizzo123 he's on zantac too, seemed to help at first but i'm having a really hard time with him now. he doesn't puke so much, but does the whole arching back & head turning thing.

@jtaylorg my sons drinks the alimentum.. Did you success with any other formula with the reflux?

@xoamby, I started off with small amounts and worked my way up it helps a lot not with pain but puking out the nose mylanta and Zantac help also

@annarizzo123 the rice works? we tried it at the hospital when they decided he had reflux, but he wouldn't drink it. I've been thinking of trying again.

I forgot to add that she eventually switched over to the Gerber gentle formula after 5 or 6 months on enfacare and had no issues with it. We had to do the Gerber because that's what WIC covers unless the doc gives a prescription for a different brand of formula like we had for the enfacare.

@jtaylorg I'm sorry to hear that. our 18 month old was a nicu baby and she was on enfacare. but they had me pump breastmilk for her and put her on the breast a few times. She only spent 2 weeks 3 days in Nicu

@tashamagolan, yeah. well I was never able to breastfeed her so she was on neosure in the hospital. She was 7 weeks early and that’s what they gave her in the NICU. they never let me breastfeed

@yestatipa if you have more kids and breastfeeding then go to formula start them on the formula that's meant for supplementation for breastfeeding infants. That helps their tummies get used to it. Now there is a new enfamil that is called Enfamil Nueropro that's super close to breastmilk

@jtaylorg, yeah that’s what I ended up on I tried sensitive and he threw up more I do a scoop of rice I. His bottles and he throws up less. He he’s on zantec now

@annarizzo123, we ended up with regular enfamil infant lol so bizarre cuz it’s the most standard basic formula. My daughter had reflux too. He will grow out of it!

@yestatipa, madi liked that one too actually but it made her SO constipated

Least four are samples so free lol which formula did you end up doing with I’m struggling with my son now he has reflux 😫

😔 Poor baby! Once I stopped breastfeeding I had a hard time finding the right formula too. She ended up drinking similac sensitive.
