Everyone’s body heals different in regards to walking but they do like you up and doing things for yourself xx

I’ve had a planned c section and emergency. Emergency with my first and a planned with my 2nd from what I remember I was last able to eat at 10pm and my last drink was 6am. Xx as I was in hospital by 7.30am xx

@abbyrose I will always have to have c sections if i have any more apparently. I have half a womb. And no I'm gunna stick with just 1 haha x

@jadeandscarlett oh really, mine was an emergancy was going to ask if you wanted to go natural next time or opt for another c section😂you deffo don't want anymore? It's horrible isn't it! It's all worth it though x

@abbyrose Mine was planned, i had mine at 37 weeks because they thought i had placenta previa. It's why I'm having no more kids! Haha and getting home and being in pain and can barely move! Ugh I literally didnt eat or sleep for like a week when i got home 😖 lol. It's just a memory now haha x

In the hospital, they gave me oramorph and just normal paracetamol. Was sore for about a week after, but everything is so much better when you have your stitches out. They say not to eat 12 hours before your section and they'll give you a little drink to flush your body. Took me about 9 hours to walk but was able to walk a bit better the next day xx

@abbyrose I had one too! God trying to walk after is so hard, took me about half an hour to get off the bed and then trying to walk around with a catheta in and carrying a drain at the same time, my god! X

I had to have an emergency c-section so I don’t know in regards before a planned c-section but after there’s no foods you can’t eat. Ya still need to do pelvic floor exercises, I was told not to lift anything heavier then what bubs weighs. As for recovery it does take awhile, I was up and walking the next morning (epidural & spinal block didn’t work on me so I was put out for it) yeah it hurts but I found the more I did as the days went on the easier it got, just don’t push ya self to much and listen to ya body. I was back at the gym about 4months later but still wasn’t back to 100% me

I was given paracetamol & ibuprofen while there and to take while at home for the next few days, half the time I forgot to take them lol.

In all honestly I didn’t find it as bad as I had always imagined (I was a wimp the thought of an op used to scare the crap outta me lol) I think that’s due to all my thoughts & concentration was on lil man xx

I had a c section I got up and walked about 12 hours after was the most painful thing ever not going to lie but it gets better, I also walked hunched over. On day 3 I could walk around properlly but my scar was sore for a couple of weeks. I still get some pains in it now x

I had an emergency c section so dunno about the eating thing. After the c section it's numb for a few hours. Then its very sore and they try getting you onto your feet after 6 hours ish. For a week or two I couldn't stand up straight I walked hunched over.. And my little girl is 2 months on Monday and I still get little pains and stuff now hun. Sometimes my belly feels tender too. But if say you starting feeling better and more capable around 6-7 days after x

I didn’t have a section but I had an emergency forceps delivery where I had to have a spinal block. The spinal usually wears off within 24-48 hours so you can walk after that wears off as for food id say you can eat anything 🤷🏼‍♀️xx
