What all is everyone putting in their bag to the hospital

@kissiem89, i used to work in OB. We don’t care if your naked or not haha we have some moms who never wear clothes and some who are so discrete. Like one she wasn’t even admitted yet I walk in and she is on the yoga ball butt naked the first time I meet her. 😂 I did it more for my coworkers and for when my dad would come in. So we just kept a sheet over my ass when I was out of the water. Lol. I have no clue how people wear the gowns they are more of an inconvenience honestly

Clothes for me and baby, chargers and headphones, lotions and bath stuff, bringing my pillows and blanket.

@tiera_shaye, good stuff . I dong mind the nakedness they might feel uncomfortable but I rather be bump out lol

The best things I feel that helped were some pillows, a blanket, chapstick, and snacks. The hospital is cold and I think their blankets suck lol. Also they provide food and snacks but sometimes it’s not what you want or it’s basic.

I kind of packed like I was going Somwhere overnight. Ours provides toothpaste and shampoo and soap but I preferred to bring my own that I know I liked by buying a travel set from the store. I also packed comfy pajama sets so I didn’t have to wear a gown after. Lastly I preferred to not be dressed much during labor (I was in and out of the tub) so I had some Bralettes for in the tub so I wasn’t 100% naked the whole time. Lol. I just hated clothes on my bump. Drove me nuts.

Has anyone’s hospital provided bath robes? I have a robe but would like to bring as minimal stuff I can especially if they provide it! 🤔🤔🙃

@kissiem89, Quite welcome!! I’ve got to get started packing on mine early, because I usually pack a ton of stuff when I go places LOL. I like to be “over” prepared instead of under prepared lol.

I also like to bring my own pillow and blanket - our hospitals stuff is a little lacking and rather uncomfortable

I’ll probably start making my list next week. I know I’ll need a pretty robe, house shoes, shower shoes, at least 3-4 outfits/pajamas (button up for IVs), shower cap, face soap, regular soap, and those super big padded underwear (I’ll probably order some on Amazon). I know they usually give you those in the hospital, but I’ll look for the best ones online before I get there lol. I also need to bring my hair wrap, toothbrush, toothpaste, mouthwash, deodorant, baby’s going home outfit (maybe 2), my camera and charger, iPad, etc. I could go on and on with this list LOL, but I’ll just stop here 😂
