I am extremely confused !! 😐 according to this chart I am in the end of month 4. My Pregnancy+ app says I am 6 months. Baby is due in 4 months.
How many months am I really?
@mommyoftwoangels People would ask me how months I was and I would shrug and tell them what week I was. They can try and figure it out, I hate math 😜
@mokimbo, yes! That’s what I am going to use to tell people hoe far along I am for now on
@mommyoftwoangels it is confusing, but at the end of the day it doesn't matter all that much which month you go with. You know how many weeks you are and that's the most important part
@bundl3ofjoy25 @mommyoftwoangels I'm glad you could follow that, it makes sense in my head but I've never typed it out before haha
@mommyoftwoangels Think if it like this. When your baby is 0 - 4 weeks old, you don't say they are 1 month. They are in their 1st month of life, but they are not 1 month until they hit the actual date. The when they are 5, 6, and 7 weeks, you don't say they are 2 months. They are in their 2nd month of life, but you still say they are 1 month until they hit the actual date. So at 21 weeks you are in your 5th month of pregnancy, but you would say you are 4 months until you hit 22 weeks, then you are 5 months, and in your 6th month of pregnancy. Does that makes sense? It's hard to explain, that's why I ignore the months and just go by weeks.
@bundl3ofjoy25, I don’t get why this has to be so confusing. There should just be one way to count it or one chart
@mokimbo, if I am 5 months wouldn’t that mean that there is more then 4 months until baby is born?
In my opinion this chart is the most accurate, but there are so many different charts and even doctors differ by what they go by. At 21 weeks you're 4 months pregnant, at 22 you will be 5 months. This chart goes by the end of the weeks, most others go by the beginning (if that makes sense, I'm not sure how to explain it)
@raquely, that’s what I mean is this chart off?
