24 hours of feeding drama 🙀🙀😸 .......

Baby lost a huge amount of weight in 6 days nearly a pound. Getting weighed again tomorrow. After yesterday and extra feeding today.....

Baby NOW feeding on breast pumped milk and a top up of formula if needed.

Had a panicky 😱 midwife from hospital wanting to come to house and take him to hospital but went through a plan of action with midwife at house yesterday. And also you know they need to give time for him to put on weight.

Obviously 🙄 really annoyed me this morning because I already feel pressure and don’t need the hospital / covering our arse hospital panicking me and hubby. Scared shitless of being sued attitude.. (they did not weigh him on his previous visit on Thursday) possibly reason.

We are on it shall we say.....

He obviously was not getting enough from breastfeeding alone very sleepy but now prodding him every 2 hours and over feeding him.

Ohhh the stress.....

I NEED ADVICE! My son just turned two months yesterday. He went to his pediatrician to get his 8 week shots but when she weighed him she was very concerned because he had lost weight since the last time she saw him, a month ago. We discussed his eating habits and she concluded that he has reflux. He drinks 3oz of breastmilk every two hours, but often spits most of it up. She said feeding him another oz won't help him gain weight, it will just cause him to spit up more. So she told me to add rice cereal to his breastmilk at every feeding. I've been doing that since yesterday. But now I'm reading online that it's very bad to start rice cereal before 4-6 months . Does anyone have any experience with this?
