my son just turned three months yesterday should I be feeding him every four hours? cause I'm pretty bad about feeding him every time he cries and he always takes the bottle so I'm feeding him like every two hours
Although I'm breastfeeding I've always fed my daughter on demand. Even now and she's 10 months happy and healthy. Feeding on demand is good for them. Believe it or not babies are really good at telling you when they're hungry
maybe u should tell them and try to get more cans , because they should give you enough.
at the time I was breast feeding but I don't anymore @mrsmord
i was breast feeding but I ended up switching to formula @emaleejoy
Yes!!! And yeah, WIC should give you more unless you are also breastfeeding! @mommy.to.be.041016
ohhh okay see so I'm doing right then? @emaleejoy
yeah but we already used this months they only gave me two cans this month -.- @mrsmord
Definitely feed the baby whenever he's hungry! But around 6 months, a feeding schedule does get somewhat important because babies do need to learn to soothe themselves and sometimes the urge for a bottle is just to be soothed!
thank you! that's what I've been saying it makes no sense at all. he just wants me to save formula till Friday he gets paid on Fridays he doesn't know what he says sometimes I think @mrsmord
lol independent ? how does not feeding baby on command make him independent.
that's what I do but my husband gets onto me about it says he needs to learn how to be independent but how can a baby do that right?! @mrsmord
I fed my son whenever he was hungry . so if he cried and it wasn't gas or poop diaper or pain and he was hungry I fed it was sometimes 3 hours 4 or 2 I just feed on command I think It's better
Is it normal for an almost 4 week old to eat every two hours? We tried to extend feedings to every three but he freaks out
Just so mad at my husband before we moved he promised he would put our son to bed at night and get him his bottle. Then promised that on the mornings he doesn't work or the ones he works later he would feed him breakfast so I can have my relax time before having him all day long. Then every morning he is here he says he's not going to get him breakfast because he doesn't want to and sits there telling me to go make and feed our son breakfast. Then every time I remind him of his promise he rolls ...
Mommies I have a question. My son (6 days old) had a Drs appointment today. She told me I had to feed him every 2 hours instead of 3. The problem is Isaiah only wants to feed on his time (every 3 hours) . I try and wake him up but he just falls right back to sleep. He's been that way since he was born. What do I do?
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
My 8 month old feeds more often than that. I breastfeed on demand. So it's up to you.
