When your baby (newborn or under 5months ) is fussy or gassy , who lays them out their tummy for a nap? Not to sleep at night because of SIDS but occasionally for a nap? Any problems ?

Mine has reflux and colic so we have to let him be at an angle after feeds so he does nap on our chest during the day. Just make sure his nose is away from anything and that he's comfortable and stable

Just keep a super close eye on him. I think it's okay for naptime as long as you are right there with him. I did with my daughter but as you said, not at bedtime.
