Discipline is necessary. Physical punishment is not. Children absolutely have rights. They are the most vulnerable among us. I don't believe this rant tells the whole story.
@yayacarrington Nobody said anything about physical punishment. lol.. How many disrespectful kids do you see??? I see a ton! With both parents working and not having time to see what their kids are up to because the cost of living is so high, now days is taking a toll on the disciplinary action taken towards kids, because hello! no one is watching them, No one is telling them right from wrong. Which why we have fucked up generations Now.
I am blessed that i don't have to work, to make sure my kids are being raised right and respectful to others as them selfs as well. Heck my 2 year old says please and thank you, you can't even get that from a 15 year old. It just saddens me.
I interpret it as America is getting to expensive thus needing both parents gone working and not able to have control on what their kids are doing. But i guess it has different meanings and you can take it as you want. 😁
I don’t think it has anything to do with both parents working. I know plenty of sahms who have shitty ass kids. And I know plenty of working moms who have great and very respectful kids.

It was implied in the "No you can't discipline your kids. Kids have rights." I could have misinterpreted it, but I don't think I did.

@mommynes I guess thats for people who actually want to parent their kids. Because there's a lot who rather not and are just lazy. its sad.
