@marismomma, tubes cannot come untied. They don’t even tie them. That’s why you’ll never hear a medical professional use the term “getting tubes tied” and it is permanent. However ectopic pregnancy can happen. But it’s not too common.
Yes you can get them reversed but it's not guaranteed it'll work. @blessed2018w9 had hers untied. She doesn't reccomened anyone tie theirs. You can read her bio.
@boymomx3 is correct.. yes most definitely can have them reversed I did, I'm on my 5th (and last) TR baby and in my state there considered tubes tide and my doctor uses the phrase as well because everyone knows what it means there's no difference in saying tubal ligation or tubes tide.. Mine we're tide for 7yrs and yes I later regretted it (you can read it in my profile)..there's clipped (mine was) cut and burn and there is actually knotting them but that's rarely used anymore and yes they absolutely can come untied it's rare but woman do get pregnant from coming undone or not waiting to heal
No but my doctor walked me through the process a couple months ago. I have all the papers on it. And she explained to me in depth what they’ll be doing. And that they don’t actually tie anything. Also my mom got a tubal ligation 25 years ago and she was also walked through the process. Her tubes were cut and cauterized.
@thisisfeeney, my mom said after 5 yrs they can grow back she had topic pregnancy I had 9 pregnancies and two losses my uterus was very thin out and I lost 95 % of blood 😣
I’m not saying there is not chance of pregnancy after a tubal. I’m saying the phrase getting your tubes tied causes confusion because they don’t literally tie your tubes.
No one has to fight. All this can be looked up on YouTube.. there are multiple different ways... mums need to stick together not butt heads with one and other. We look to each other because we have all had different experiences. We should take that and learn; Not fight because they aren’t what we have always known. Embrace the unknown... peace rant done.

My point was they don’t literally “tie” your tubes. So they can’t just come untied.
To get a reversal is a medical procedure. Which the above user is right. It isn’t guaranteed.

I've heard that getting your tubes tied can mess up your hormones for life. I'm to scared

@christinasanchez1984, a tubal ligation is when they cut and cauterize the Fallopian tubes.
Thisisfeeney·
@blessed2018w9, yes but a lot of women think they actually tie your tubes because of the phrase. They don’t. There is not much tying in the process.

@thisisfeeney have you had yours tide b4?
