This might be a dumb question, but can someone tell me what’s more important to stock up on? Newborn, 0-3, or 3-6…

My daughter was born 8 lbs 1 oz and she wore newborn clothes for a month! Then switched to 0-3 months for 3 months then wore 3-6 months! I always pack newborn outfits and one 0-3 just in case I have a big baby in my hospital bag I don’t like my newborn drowning in there clothes

A few 0-3 and 3-6. Don’t waste money on newborn size unless your family is known for small babies

My son stayed in newborn clothes for about 3 weeks. My rule of thumb is to get 5 of each item for each size as a foundation. So 5 onesises, 5 sleepers, 5 pairs of pants, etc. for each clothing size.

That’s a great question! I wish I would have known with my first. I only had a few newborn items because I knew he was measuring big. He was 8 lbs 2oz but still wore newborn at first. I had a ton of 0-3 and he didn’t even wear it all. I wish I wouldn’t have torn the tags off of everything after my baby shower. It worked out because I saved a lot of stuff and I’m having another boy. But I would mostly buy 3-6 and up. As everyone else mentioned they will have some room to grow into it. It doesn’t hurt to have a little bit of the smaller sizes though :)

My daughter was in newborn and 0-3 months for a while. So I would get a few items of clothes in that size. But buy more of bigger sizes. Especially, pajamas and onesies.

For me 0-3. Most explosions and she wore them for awhile. We only had a few newborn outfits but she could wear them about the first 3 weeks or so, she could still wear 0-3 during that tome, they were just big. 3-6 there was less explosive changes, and lasted a good amount of time too.

It depends on how big your babies are. I’d say 0-3 just to be safe. But, I have small babies and you change them so much during the first few weeks that I had many newborn outfits that they wore a few times.

My son was in new born for 2.5 months born 7lbs 4oz. He's 6 months now and still in. 0\3 and 3 month

Don’t buy to many newborn clothes. Babies grow out of them quickly or some don’t even fit in to them depending on the size of the baby or the brand of clothes (some run really small)

Always buy big. My daughter was a preemie so we did end up using the newborn clothes because she was so small, but now everything we buy we buy big. They will never stop growing.

I’ve brought a mixture of 0-3 and 3-6 I also picked some 6-9 up but that’s cause they were in the sale😉 x

I would get more 0-3. My kids stayed in newborn for about the first month i believe. just depends on how big your baby is when born though. My kids were both 7 lbs

3-6 I usually start with only a couple newborn things because they grow so quickly and 0-3 just a few things

I'd say go bigger because if anything they can wear them longer @beeforever98

3-6 and then stock up and bigger sizes my almost 4 month old is already in 6-9 months
