I think my depression has kicked in. I had a full blown meltdown this morning, before work, end up calling out sick. I have run out of sick and vacation time. I keep saying, I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired, because this pregnancy has been difficult. It's only my hubby and I with 0 supports. (No trustworthy family or friends). We have been secretive about this pregnancy because of a previous loss. I guess everything is starting to hit me and I'm very overwhelmed 😑

That's awesome. Stressful that they don't have adequate staff to support you. I totally get that. My boss had a hard time accommodating me too. In the end going on leave early gave her the freedom to hire a temp.

And feeling alone should never happen. We are moms and need to stay connected. Feel free to pm or post if you need to.

@sorcha my supervisor is really understanding but due to lack of staff is hard for them to give me special accommodations. I also work crazy morning hours, which is starting to take a toll on me. Thanks for replying, I just feel alone sometimes. I have a doctor's app next week, definitely bring it up.

*hugs* its hard to be pregnant without supports. Mention how you feel to your doctor. I'd also mention your pregnancy to your employer if you've been there a while. Most employers will understand. And if something happens they can support you with adjusting your work load or days off.

I always told my boss early on in my pregnancy so if something happened they would understand why I'm flaking or taking extra time away from work. It saved some awkward conversations and allowed me to feel comfortable taking the time needed.
