Dreams and intuition

So I've seen a lot of posts about dreams and intuitions. As a young child I've always been a very vivid dreamer. Only my dreams are never really that pleasant. I have about 1 good dream out of the 10 bad before. Its always rotated in this order. I've had dreams where I can't wake up but know I'm in a dream. So I try to take over. It works half of the time. Only Im never able to completely control my dreams it's more like I'm there and the chaos is still going. I've also been able to continue my dreams after waking. So let's say I get up for a bathroom break. I'm able to lay down and start where I left off. I've also have had dreams of things that have happened with my family and it coming true. Along with weird intuitions of things happening. Like with my cars I've always got a feeling a week before they breakdown or need fixing. No joke I've called it every time it has broken down. Like when my dodges back tired blew and my back window got broken out due to rocks on the freeway. I told my husband to take the slow lane because I could feel something bad about to happen. And not even two min later my tire blew and we where stuck on the freeway. One of my rods snapped in the back and went right into my tire. Then someone drove by kicked up a rock and blew out my back window. Or like the time a man fallowed us at Target. The week before I keep on get feeling of someone wanting to hurt my daughters or I. Well after the target incident they went away. I have another post about that day. So I guess my reason for this post is to see if anyone gets dreams like this and intuitions. My doctors are always surprised when I tell them I have nothing but nightmares. They sum it up to my ptsd but I've been having dreams like this for as long as I can remember. My most recent dream was my family running as the world burns. There where people with flesh burning off and pulling others into a hole in the ground. There is only one house to run to. The bottom is filled with spiders and we have to climb to the top. We make it up but my children are gone. I look out the window and all I see is flames and people getting taken. I turn to my husband who is gone as well. I hear screaming and people trying to get help. I run out to find my children and I'm back in my home. Only its not my home and my family is not who they are. They say welcome back and I sit at the breakfast table. They ask if I'm ready. I shake my head yes and it's over. So just a idea of what my dreams are like. I've also been able to remember over half of the dream if not more. I've seen tons of women talk about their dreams and some that really know there stuff. So if I could also get any useful information as to what this is called when you dream like this. I've asked a couple of docs and like I said they sum it up to my ptsd. Never any real answers.
