Babbling
Any November moms still waiting for their babies to babble consonants like Mamama dadada? My lo hasn't started yet and I'm trying not to worry. She also isn't army crawling, pulling to stand or scooting... We see the ped in a week and I'm going to bring it up. I just feel worried that she is falling behind.. She will be 8 months on the 23rd.
My daughter started babbling saying bababa at about 7.5 months then at 8 months she started mamama but I haven't heard either in about a week now. She seems to start and stop things. She just learned to clap and wave and cruise furniture last week so I'm hoping she stopped babbling to focus on other things. I would say as long as she is developing some skills she is probably fine and focusing on other things.
Like a week before Addy turned 8 months she started showing interest in pulling up and standing. Then bam at 8 months she is now pulling up, standing on her own, crawling, and going from holding on to one item to go to another. She did all this in a week or two. I wouldn't be too concerned. She makes all kinds of noises though and sounds, but nothing sounds like words besides Dadada lol she also has done everything out of order. She sat before she rolled over and she had been pulling up and standing before crawling. It's funny how they just randomly decide well I'm gonna do this today lol she may just not be interested or ready yet. Our dogs play a big part in motivating Addy. She always wants to keep up and play with them.
Babababa :) whew! Finally sounds like some babbling.
