He flipped!!!

My baby flipped and is no longer breech! I'm so excited, one less thing to worry about during this super stressful pregnancy! I'll be 34 weeks on Saturday but I'll be induced at 37 weeks due to pre-e so I was REALLY getting concerned about him flipping on time.

@mommy - I was walking through Hobby Lobby and I felt some pressure, but wasn't sure what was going on. Then a few hours later I was sitting on the floor sorting baby clothes and all of the sudden I felt limbs on my upper right side, which is where his head has been this whole time. I said to my husband, "I think he flipped!!" but then a few hours later, I felt what I thought was his head again up top. The doctor today confirmed he's butt up, head down and facing down!

My 3rd child was a VBA2C and she was sunny side up. That was a terribly painful labor so I'm glad he's in the right position now.

Yes!!!!! I'm so happy for you Mama. My DD never flipped but I remember hoping so hard that she would. You must feel so relieved!!! I've read the same as what K said. There's very little chance he will flip back (unless you do some kind of inversion).

@mommy when my baby flipped (from transverse to breech), I got the worst BH contraction of my whole pregnancy. When the contractions were over, the kicks and movement was all in different places. To me, it was obvious. Also, if your baby is breech, you can feel their head by your ribs. I used to love being able to feel DD's head. ☺️

I think what he meant by that is that you'll feel him in a different position. For example, I feel all the kicks in my ribs and know his feet are up here. But you don't feel the actual "flip" movement happen, if that's what you're asking. I had no idea mine flipped.

What does it feel like when a baby flips positions? I want to know because my son is breech still ( 37 weeks today ) and my OB said "oh you will feel it." Can anyone describe to me what that feels like.

Oh that's good to know, K! My first and third were head down for as long as I can remember. My second was breech and when my water broke at 36w6d, they had to deliver her via c-section.

He better stay down! I'm enjoying his feet in my side and under my ribs, as opposed to my crotch.
