impatient
I'm so impatient ? I'll be 8 week tomorrow & not having an
Well I am at the doctor's now , started spotting after work, &cramping & back pain.
I believe I overworked myself last night. I did an over night shift and I did a lot of moving, stocking and cleaning.
Understandable then why you would want an early ultrasound to make sure everything is ok. Talk to your doctor about your concerns and see if they'll consider doing one earlier. The only reason I'm getting one at 11 weeks is because it's an ultrasound that looks specifically for neural tube defects and down syndrome. Its not mandatory but I figure it's better to be safe than sorry.
And reason I'm so impatient it's because ive had a miscarriage and that pregnancy was just terrible that I would always get US from how sick i would get constantly.
I definitely was thinking about lying of something but I just couldn't I didn't wanna wait in the er so i just have to be patient aNd wait next week.hopefully it'll go by faster. And usually I won't get an ultrasound so early but since I have no idea when exactly I got pregnant im just going off by my lmp.
I know it can be frustrating. My OB doesn't do US until 10+ weeks. I of course am so extremely excited to hear that little heart beat but I work in healthcare, specifically L&D, and know that everything takes time and has a purpose. Unfortunately if anything were truly wrong, there's not much that can be done. Just be patient! Soon you will get to hear that little heart beat every appointment :)
Well kchase sorry for your loss but either way my comment was still wasent towards you it was towards her so if your feeling some type of way about something that was my opinnion and my comment was towards her than i dont know what else to tell u stop worrying about what i comment because at the end of the day is opinnion just how everybody else has oppinion half the time i dont make up things for every lil thing that happens to me or i feel like is not ok i go to the hospital too see how the baby is doing wethere is something big or not it dont matter im there too see if everything is okay so u feeling sometype of way is really irrelevant
And at most hospitals, they are not even allowed to let you see the screen because it's considered a medical emergency and they are looking for something wrong. Techs are not allowed to tell you anything. I went in because I was bleeding and wasn't allowed to see a thing. Had to wait for my OB to call me and tell me baby was fine and I had a subcnrionic hemorrhage.
It has nothing to do with the fact that someone has insurance or not. It's very irresponsible and selfish. If there was actually something wrong, that would be another story. And it's very offensive to woman like myself who have lost babies. It's immature and shouldn't be done. And like someone else stated, it takes away time and resources for people who are there for real medical emergencies. Just don't do it. If you have a reason to worry, call your OB. Just because you are impatient, Iike the op stated, is not a good enough reason.
After my 8th week ultrasound they told me that I won't have one until 18 weeks!!! I was like uh uh I'm having one in between that! Lol going in today to talk about possibly doing one at 12 weeks because I am constantly lifting at work and would like to make sure things are going well ?
Well im sorry auntomnwinds and whoever else that got offended because i said " make something up " is not irresponsible and i have insurance so for the people who dont got insurance than yea it is expensive but if she is worried about her baby than that is something i would do to see if everything is ok for gods sake waiting a whole month too see your baby when u can go to the hospital and see for ur self instead of waiting soo long . My comment wasent towards you it was towards her . Thank you.
Im 7 weeks and my first apt isn't until aug 31 when ill be almost 12 weeks. Even then I won't get an us until 20w. That is usually when most women will get one. I understand being impatient and wanting to see your baby but earlier us are usually to confirm due dates if you don't know your lmp or for high risk. This is my 3rd and I can say from experience that you're gonna have to learn patience because after 30w you're gonna be ready to be done and those last couple of weeks are going to drag. Don't worry you'll soon be able to hear your baby heartbeat and you'll know that everything is okay ?
Do not make something up to go to the hospital. That is incredibly tacky and irresponsible, not to mention expensive. It also takes resources from people who actually need emergency service. You have many years to see your child. Waiting a week for a blurry image of a bean is nothing in the grand scheme.
Make something up? I'm a mom that has battle high risk pregnancy and still had to hold my dead child in my arms due to complications I had a stillborn. Reason why I get an ultrasound at 6weeks and ether way it's too early to tell healthy or not yet or If it's gone survive. Please don't wish or say things like that. I rather not get an ultrasound till 13 20 weeks but not be high risk.
I know how you feel. I'm 7 weeks and my first appointment is until August 22nd. I'll be 10 weeks at that point. I don't think they'll do an ultrasound then so I'll prob have to wait until I'm 11 weeks like my last baby. It was at an ultrasound place that i went to. My OB office doesn't do ultrasounds routinely unless it's for like high-risk pregnancies which I'm not. So I'll have to wait, which is fine.
Go to the hospital thats what i did i made something up and everything was good ima bout to do the same thing again i had my ultrasound at 7 weeks im currently 9 weeks today and they want to see me again for a check up on aug 22 ill be 12 weeks now i dont even know when i will get another damn ultrasound ??
@hazel_marie how are you and baby girl doing? Impatiently waiting for pics ☺️☺️
Just ordered sneak peak Im too impatient 😂
So impatient. Really want to find out what I'm having. I'm 13 weeks + 2 days. Is it too early to find out?
everyone online tonight is either 37,38,39 or 40 weeks ...I'm getting impatient 😈
Would it be totally insane to test at 8/9 DPO lol I’m impatient
I know how you feel. My office waits until 10w but due to 2 previous miscarriages, one last year where the baby was found with no heartbeat means that I will get one at 8w. Its understandable, but please don't make something up at the hospital. Try finding a free clinic or something other than faking problems at the hospital. That could take away from someone else who really is in an emergency and is also waiting for the ultrasound technician.
My office only does 2 ultrasounds, 10w daying scan and anatomy scan at 20w.
