Birthday parties??
My son turned 8 last weekend and we celebrated today. For the first time ever, we did not have his party at home! We went to a local Waterpark and we had a total of 15 kids. Surprisingly, I spent less money than when we did his parties at home! It was so nice to not have to cook, bake and clean in preparation, have tons of people over, and clean up again, etc. I have so much more energy and it was soooo much less stressful!

I prefer to plan & execute the parties but once DS is ready we'll go to one or two friends & the water/amusement park or something like that.

We had DS 1 birthday party at Gymboree, now im hooked on having it somewhere other than home! leave the prep and clean up to someone else!

We usually have these big pool parties in the backyard. We have one of those intex pools so it was great for the kids. But so much work with the food, cleaning, games, party favors, etc! Today was GREAT!!
