After I got off, I decided to clean the house because it just couldn't wait until the weekend. After cleaning for two hours, I cooked dinner and then asked the kids if they wanted brownies for dessert. To my surprise, they said no and went down to play. Ryan came in the kitchen 5 minutes later to discover I was indeed making brownies! He said "I thought the kids didn't want any," to which I replied "oh, they changed their minds?." Not even 5 seconds later, I spilled the vegetable oil all over my recently cleaned counters, floor, and trash can! :-(
