I NEED HELP!
Ahhhhhh! I'm at the end of my rope! I can't get my DD to potty train! She has peed on my floor 9 times today and my couch once! She is being completely stubborn! She'll be 3 in October!

They will just go when they are ready. That time is coming soon. Don't get frustrated its only lemonade. :)

Just to let you know, both my boys were 3 when they finally wanted to go. Once they were started that was it. A week for my oldest and dry through the night by the following week. My other boy was a little longer with the nighttime, but he got there within a few weeks.
My sil forced my niece into potty training just before 2. My niece still had accidents frequently up until last year she's 5 now. It caused endless stress for them both

She doesn't sound ready.
If she has peed 9 times today on herself, it's pretty clear that she hasn't taught her bladder to properly hold her pee. It comes with time. My son didn't potty train until 3.5. I let him do it on his own.
My ex friend on the other hand, literally forced her son to do it. Spanked him every time he wet himself.. to this day,he(4.5) is potty trained but he wets the bed.. every...single..night.
Just let them do things on their own time. There is no rule book of when things should happen .

Both of mine were three. I tried earlier but it wasn't happening. We also have never had any accidents. Don't stress it will happen.

Thanks ladies! I've been feeling like a failure! LOL! I have not been getting aggravated with her or punishing her when she's peed on the floor or anything.
Since I posted this, she has peed on the potty twice! Woo-hoo! Then I acted like it was the greatest thing ever and she got so excited! She flushed the toilet and said "this is so cool", then when she got off the potty she gave me the biggest hug and said "I love you, mommy! Thank you!" Haha!
I definitely won't push it though. I just kept hearing everyone say most girls are potty trained at 2 so I thought I was running out of time.

And she peed on the floor at least 2 more times. This is for the birds!

Two ideas - target practice isn't just for boys :). There are peanuts you can put in the potty to be peed on. Also - reading books on the potty, then rewarding when she goes.
Good job to her 2 times is good!

I agree, it takes time. My daughter didn't get fully potty trained until the age of 3.5. My son will be 2.5 next month and he refuses to potty train. I ask him every other day but no. He'll wet himself. I'll wait until he is ready.
