So I gave in and let my other half paint and wallpaper the nursery this weekend. Now he’s just come for his drill and what I asked what he was doing said he’s putting the furniture up. We only have changer drawers and wardrobe so far.. Iv just gone mad demanding it’s too early as I’m only nearly 23 weeks and now we’ve been in a full on arguement 😡

I'm genuinely not trying to be bitchy right now so don't take it like that, but what's your actual issue? I understand the part about if you do everything now then it's going to drag at the end, but make the most of him wanting to do it for you honestly! I was 8 months pregnant and put a triple wardrobe up cos my man was always working, I'd have loved someone to do it all for me 😂 xx
You’re so lucky! My OH leaves me to do everything and has done throughout my whole pregnancy! He probably wants to feel like he’s doing something because you’re the one who’s actually carrying the baby and he wants to feel involved xx
Yes I know your telling me it’s my first and it’s deffo taking it’s toll. But nothing I say or give him to read makes it easier I don’t know if he just says it to annoy me or if he really doesn’t understand 😡 we’ve waited a long time for it to happen so I know he wants to be organised cus he’s excited but we’ve got ages to go and if we do everything straight away imagine how long the final weeks are going to be 🙄
@kirsty.w.2888 Growing a baby is tiring work! A lot more draining than putting up a few wardrobes and shelves! My bf used to think I was just being lazy at the beginning until I started sleeping for about 15 hours straight/undisturbed, then he finally realised how tired I must be and went a bit easier on me haha xx
Well we are still waiting on the cotbed and I didn’t mind buying it all but didn’t really want it up until around 29-30 weeks just find it a little early. I know for men must be hard but his arguement is well you won’t help me at 30 weeks when you want it up.. and annoys me when he says I don’t do owt and I’m always asleep 😡
I wish my man would make a proper start on the nursery! Baby girls room is currently occupied by all his stupid gym gear. Better to start a little early than to leave it this late xx
I do know I should feel lucky that he wants to do it.. I just understand the big rush and urgency. I’m still struggling even after 8 scans in total to be more positive.. after 3 miscarriage it takes it toll and I don’t want anything to jinx the fact this is going well. I bought the pram in the sale against my will I have to say cus again very superstitious and Iv left that at my mums house cus I darent bring it home
