2 yo losing weight
When we took DD in for her 2 year check up (October), she had lost a pound since her 18 months check up. She was 23.5 lbs at her 2 year check up. She has always been on the petite side but over the past 3 months, she has really lost her normal appetite and has become a very picky eater.
They've been worried about my daughter's weight since she was a year old. They monitor it very closely which is soooo stressful because I cannot force feed her. I stopped giving her cow's milk and switched her to soy, which she was a also allergic to. I also cut back her liquid intake a LOT so that she would be more hungry. I just recently switched her to Almond milk and she also does carnation instant breakfast. She's FINALLY eating and gaining a teeny bit of weight. One of her pediatricians was never all too worried about it, while another had me feeling like a terrible, neglectful mother. I understand how frustrating this can be, OP. Try and get her to snack on things like peanut butter and crackers or cheese and crackers or cream cheese. I also give my daughter hummus and crackers. ANYTHING that she will eat, I will feed her and while I have my boys on an eating schedule, if she asks me for a snack or something in between meals and other snacks, I feed it to her. Hang in there!!
I talked to my dietician about my kids because they're petite and highly active so I was worried about them losing weight. Her recommendations were to let them snack through a day. So offer breakfast, morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack, dinner and before bed snack. Before bed we give them whole milk with chocolate carnation so it tastes like chocolate milk. We add butter or oil to anything that we can for their meals. Mashed potatoes, noodles, veggies.
We tried to pediasure, every flavor, and she refused to drink it! We still have her on whole milk.
We do try and there are certain things she loves and will eat, but she seems to be getting fuller faster, if that makes sense. She might take 4 bites and be completely done with food.
I wouldn't say it's necessarily typical, but if she's really become an extremely picky eater, I would think that was the cause and wouldn't be hugely concerned except trying to get her more calorie dense foods. Smoothies made with fruit, spinach, and yogurt are healthy and full of nutrients.
I have a one year old with lices and i didnt now some girls she was playing with had them and now she has some i dont now if i should take her so i can get medicine for the lies and i just check her and she has a alot and it bothers me that she straches her self ... has any one had a problem what can i use ??

Ladies I need advice. My partner's sister got deported a few years back for something she did and she left her daughter here with my partner's mum who's been raising her. Last month she gave birth and hid it from the family and now she is asking for money saying the dad has walked out on her. My partner's mum has asked everyone to band together and give money to help raise him. I'm in 2 minds and I just want some advice. It's not the child's fault and I feel so sorry for him but at the same time...
Would you date a man that’s married but in the process of getting a divorce? My friend has been dating this guy for 2 months and he just told her that he’s in the middle of getting a divorce and that it won’t be finalized for 8 months to a year due to property and money. She’s worried about what friends and family will think of her. What do you think good advice would be to give? They both are 22 his wife is 30 and they also have a 2 year old baby together.
Is she getting taller? My daughter is 2.5 and is the same weight as when she went for her 1 year appointment. She has grown about 4-5 inches though.
