My SIL lost her baby today!
She was 7 months and he was diagnosed with Trisomy 18 a few months ago. She has to deliver him tomorrow. RIP Baby Carter! Please pray for my family! :-( ?

OT. rant! forward facing early ok, so in my birth month forum (October 2012) someone posted a picture of their lo riding in the car in a forward facing seat! what???? it baffles me when parents do this. I'm not trying to offend anyone.. but why do ppl do this?? the oldest baby in our birth month is 9 months, she was 3 months premature. but even at 9 months I wouldn't have my child forward facing.

Well she was over at my bff house and the baby was crying and she went into the room and shook her and yelled at her to go to sleep!!! My bff started yelling at her to take care of her child. She said but she needs to go to sleep I want yo watch this movie! And my bff told her to get out of the room and she put baby girl to sleep. She goes to the living room. Thank you, ladies! I just want to curl into a ball and cry. My heart just aches for her. Such a sweet, caring, loving person. She doesn't deserve this, no one does. It is also her other sons birthday today! He is 4, what a bad memory on a great day.

Thank you! It has been such a rough month. We found out a few weeks ago that my uncle and my aunt both have stage 4 cancer. Prayers are very appreciated.

Well, I spent the evening with them and they are doing ok. My SIL is dreading tomorrow though as she has to be induced and go through full labor. She feels blessed that they found out he had Trisomy 18 a few months ago and that she had some time to prepare since they knew this could be a possibility. None the less, they are both very heartbroken and tomorrow is just going to be so hard for them! Please keep them in your prayers and thoughts tomorrow.

She actually said the same thing, Kentucky. She asked them for a section but since she has never had one, they wouldn't allow it. :-( I just feel so terrible. We hugged and cried for a long time last night. She said "the doctors said that this was out of my control and that we don't need to worry about TTC in the future, that it more than likely wont happen again, but you can't help but think about what you might have done wrong that caused this. Did I play with my kids to hard one day when he first was conceived, did I eat something wrong?". I assured her that she did nothing wrong and that Carter loves her more than anything and is so happy that she is his momma! :-(
Ugh! It makes me so sad to see her go through this and to see her hurt!
