Adenoid removal in adults
I had an appt this morning with an ENT for my sleeping issues. She told me I have a deviated septum and I still have my adenoids. She started me on Flonase to see if it helps with opening things up to stop snoring at night. If the nasal spray doesn't work then they are looking at removing my adenoids. Has anyone had this done? How long was recovery? What should I expect?
Short Luteal Phase? I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?
I had my IUD removed 6 days ago and my anxiety has been at an all time high! Anyone ever have this??

I had mine taken out 2 years ago along with my tonsils. They said it was a 50/50 chance of stopping the snoring. In my case it worked. It took 10 days for recovery for my throat and day 8 was the worst as it was the day the scabs came off exposing the new skin. Totally worth it though!

Thank you! Amelia, apparently recovery is a lot worse for adults. Higher chance for bleeding and such.

I had them taken out with my tonsils at 23. Not gonna lie it hurts like hell but im so glad i had it done. I havent had a sinus infection or sore throat since! :)
take your pain meds as directed every 4-6 hours. I literally had to set an alarm to take them throughout the night too or id wake up in agony from break through pain. The first couple days are the worst. After that it only gets better.
My husband just had the surgery last july. He got percacet and it made him sleep through the entire first couple days. I would literally just feed him his pain pills every 4-6 hours lol. Well on day 3 i think he thought it would be ok to eat some soup that was kinda more on the spicy side, despite me telling him not to do it. It gave him heartburn, he threw it up and ripped the sores open causing a bleed. Since hes active duty & on opioids i was obviously required to take him to the er and stay with him. Doing so i missed my best friends wedding and i was the maid of honor :( i told him not to eat that damn soup! They ended up not bleeding anymore after a couple hours so they didnt have to go back into surgery and re cauterize the wounds. He got lucky. So stick with the meal plan hand out they give you!
