I know. I hate that my kids have to grow up in this unstable world. I want to avoid the news, but avoiding it doesnt mean its not happening still. Violence, shootings, murders, attacks. Its flippin crazy.

I was just about to post the same thing @samoura...i cant stop thinking about baby Brianna...i just saw her story on youtube and it broke my heart to million pieces. All those abuse stories got me on tears but for some reason that one destroyed me

Honestly, everything in the news lately makes me terrified of the world my baby will grow up in.

I had to take FB app off my phone due to anxiety and stress. We don't have cable bc I can't stand that "news" either. I feel so much better and sleep better. So sick of people's fear mongering. Too much negativity started to make me so worried at my babies and we can only control so much and I refuse to be a helicopter parent. I feel liberated!

Absolutely! It breaks my heart thinking about those poor kids. One that gets me is leaving them in a hot car. I'm so over paranoid about it that I quadruple check while I'm in the car and when I get where I'm going. Breaks my heart just thinking about what could happen.

Baby Brianna story really made me sick. Couldnt stop thinking of her for days and days.

Also the story i read about the mother who set her oven to 600 and put her baby in there. Luckily the father saved the baby

because he heard the screams. Shes now grown.

I'm always shocked when I hear of/read about that stuff. Babies are the sweetest creation of all. So innocent and dependent...just sickens me that anyone's touch could be anything but loving!

I definitely do! Those stories always bothered me but since I had my baby, I cannot read them without ugly crying.

Yes! Especially with all those left in the car stories too! I can't imagine leaving my helpless child in the car.
