You're still really early. I'd wait until close to your 2nd trimester or when you're in your 2nd trimester.

I'm almost 29 weeks and it takes my high risk ob longer then a minute to find babes hb lol be patient!

I didn't hear my baby's heartbeat on mine until a few days over 9 weeks. The baby is most likely still too small at 7 weeks and hard to find at that point and I have 3 MHz which they claim is more sensitive than the 2 MHz.

You probably won't be able to hear it through the Doppler until at least 12-14 weeks. Possibly longer if you are a little thicker as you say.

I couldn't even hear mine until late in week 7 through a TV US.

I know it's exciting, but try to be a little more patient.

My tip is to also go low and tilt down, it takes a few tries and also youtube videos help too♡

Try around 10 weeks. That's when I heard my dear

BTW I'm not slim either. A little chubby bur definitely not fat

The doppler I brought said to use after 12 weeks as sometimes it's very hard to find early on. Everytime I've used it after 12 weeks I had no trouble finding the heart beat. Best of luck

I won't buy a doppler because I know I'd freak if I couldn't find the heartbeat but my mw says that if you're of a slim build you have a good chance of finding it around 12 weeks.
