how early can you hear the heart beat ?? .
with my son I was already 16 weeks so I heart it my first visit. but yeah let know . can I hear it at 5 weeks 6 days . BC I I have a Dr apt Monday at 9 for an ultrasound well I know I'll be 6 weeks by Monday tho
I know they need messaging on here! But I have been spotting for 8 days now it goes brown to bright red then brown and red mixed together it's so frustrating and I've never ever spotted at all@jkmmom2110
omg I was wondering where u went omg I hope u r
@jjmmom2110, hey girl! So I haven't got anything yet😓 I took a test yesterday and today! Both negative. But it's crazy because I've been having spotting for six days from brown to pink to light pink to bright red it's so weird because I've never ever spotted usually by the 2nd day I'm flowin! Lol but just a little update nothing yet!
I agree @whitbun just irritates me when people give medical advice based on fiction (not you obviously) Could end up be harmful and I would hate to see that happen!
Hearing it and seeing it are two different things.
I agree with @whitbun on what my doc has said. You can see it first but can't hear it until later since the baby's heart isn't fully developed until at least 6 weeks. Week 5 is only a heart Tube that beats spontaneously that you can't hear. Sorry @chelsea0820 but it's biology. Maybe you were further along.
That said I got sick and heard it for the first time early to ensure everything was okay at about 10-11 weeks. But I saw it first at 8 weeks with the vaginal ultrasound.
Hope that helps!
whoa where was at when this happened ??? I fell asleep sorry ladies
@chelsea0820, it's really nothing to argue about. You are entitled to your opinion. Have a good day.
Well I'm 36 weeks now and I've been thru it twice now. your doctor is wrong. And look it up? because the internet is always right. doctors say different things. maybe you couldn't hear yours but that's not the same for everyone.
@chelsea0820, it's not ignorance. My doctor told me a baby does not produce enough sound waves when the heart is first developed to hear it that early. You can see in in an ultrasound beating though. You can look it up too if you would like.
@whitbun, yes you can. I heard mine at 5 weeks and 3 days. a few days after I found out I was pregnant bc I went to the er. not every one is the same so to generalize everyone's pregnancy to be the same is ignorance
oh okay !! yeah as long as I can see it flutter than I'm fine
you'll be able to see it on the ultrasound. I saw my baby's at 5w4d I think something like that I didn't get to hear it until like 13 weeks. but I could clearly see its little heart fluttering away
but that's normal right ? that doesn't mean the baby passed away right
baby heart starts beating 18 days after conception. the baby might be to small for the doctor to find it.
so I gotta have a vaginal ultrasound to hear the heartbeat
I saw the heartbeat at 7 week ultrasound. You can't hear it that early, doctor wasn't able to hear it with a Doppler until 10 weeks.
yeah. I mean it's been beating the entire time it's just up to the doctor to find it.
I was 6 weeks and 1 day they did a vaginal ultrasound to find it though
so the heart should be beating by now ?? @chelsea0820
I'll be 7 weeks may 27 I go and finally get my Dr Monday will be at tiny toes sono just a place u can get sonograms at here n tx
I heard baby's heartbeat for the first time @ 7 weeks :)
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
