No poop for 4 days?
My baby is 4 months ebf. Usually he pooped once or twice a day but now it's been 4 days and no poop. He doesn't seem uncomfortable and he's passing gas. Should I be concerned?
My baby hasn't pooped in 2 days! he ise to poop at least 4 to 5 times a day and he hasn't pooped since Wednesday afternoon. Is that something I should take him to his pediatrician for?
my baby is 6 weeks old and i noticed he hasnt pooped well today all day he didnt and i was told to give him 1 ounce of water and he did poop but that was only 1 time all day today

Mommas I need advice. Kynton gets a super bad rash when he poops. From one poop and maybe 45 seconds of him being in that diaper turns his butt bright red and blisters. We only use Huggies and Pampers diapers. Could it be disposables that do this? The gel stuff mixing with his poop that creates the rash?? And should I try a few cloths to see if it helps? Or what do I do. He poops at least 2 times if not sometimes more a day. And it puts him in agonising pain. His Drs said don't worry but his Booty is always red, bleeding and hurts him.
My one year old has not pooped in 2 days! He eats table food and drinks milk most of the day. His tummy isn't hard. Should I wait it out? He has an appointment Monday. I'm hoping he poops tomorrow. I just find it very odd he usually has 3 soiled diapers a day. Apple juice and gripe water ate doing nothing. He's eaten Graham cracker, yogurt, pizza, Cheetos, pbj, bread sticks, applesauce, and soup. All that and no poop is scaring me. He doesn't seem in pain or discomfort at all.

Apparently bf babies can go a week and be ok. I imagine the poop that happens after that time is pretty big, but I don't know. Of your worries, you can always try stimulation. Put Vaseline on a qtip and put just the tip in his bum and pull it out and be ready!

My daughter is ebf and does this sometimes. It doesn't seem to bother her, and when she goes she really goes! Lol

Ok I called the dr and they said as long as he's not vomiting or seems like he's in pain it's fine. I'm scared for when it finally comes!

Ya I guess up to a week is normal. I guess just make sure you always have a spare outfit handy cause chances are it's gonna be a blow out!

My almost 4 month old efb lo only goes about once a week. Its completely normal. Breastmilk is mostly all nutrients and good stuff that baby needs which they absorb and there is less waste to poop out. As long as lo has plenty of wet diapets i wouldnt worry! I got very worried when my lo went his first week without a poop but he was fine and be ready cuz it will be a FULL diaper when it finally does happen! If baby gets uncomfortable i would try a probiotic. Me and my lo are on one.

Connor did this a few weeks ago, his farts become more and more evil but eventually he pooed, it was unexpected and unfortunately...on my lap....I was changing his nappy and wasnt expecting it to happen where he hadnt been going, i didn't even hear it I just felt a warm sensation on my leg and when I looked down it wasnt pretty...there was poo everywhere, on me, on The floor, on The sofa, on him, it was bad haha

Lol. Yep.. I also learned not to bath with a baby that is due a big poop.
