Has anyone ever taken mucinex dm or robitussin dm for cough?
Have any of you ladies taken mucinex DM or robitussin DM for chest congestion and cough while pregnant? I need relief from the constant coughing, especially at night. Yes, I'm on antibiotics for pneumonia which brought my fever down but I need an expectorant. Any suggestions or advise of what helped you is appreciated! Thanks ladies!

Thanks ladies! I never heard of Tylenol warming cold medicine.
As for the DM- yeah, my OB said if absolutely needed yes but my internist said no. That's why I wanted to know if anyone took it without complications.

I use the Tylenol warming cold medicine. Everything in it is safe while pregnant. And it works amazingly. Kicked this colds butt.
I had to ask my Dr the same question last week. He told me to use Mucinex DM
Dr. suggests nothing with "DM" on the end of it...though I was told childrens Triaminic for cold and cough that has a decongestant in it is okay. I guess because of the low dosage.
