Help! What color should I paint these frames? I kinda like the gold but it's REALLY gold (they were made in 1980). White? Lighter gold? They will go in my daughter's playroom. Walls are a cream color. Lots of white/grays/gold/light pink in the room.

@landonsmummy My aunt gave them to me! They used to be in my cousin's nursery. They're oil paintings and the date says 1980. I'm super excited!
I think they're too gold as well. I just thrifted a good sized mirror with the same color frame and I painted it a metallic taupe. It came out beautiful! It's still shiny and girly but a lot more toned down and much easier to blend in with other colors. It's for my dds room as well
Ugh, I know, I love gold too. I was just thinking they're reeaally 80's, yellowish gold. However I think I'll leave them. They were in my cousin's nursery when she was a baby. Thank you so much for all of your input!
Honestly I want them! ? I have gold all over our house. When you throw in accent colors (like pinks and navy's) it totally tones it down.
