Luckily one child distracts the other from rummaging through things, but I do sometimes get those days where my son will throw toilet paper like confetti around, even got on the counter going through my makeup.

Best advice is to put everything up get cabinet locks, hmm not sure what to do about the flushing, I wouldn't say anything that might make him timid to be around the toilet though

Get the stuff he can pull out, throw out etc. out of reach.. and make the shower quick? Sorry no help. I have a very calm daughter as well

I just let them get ready with me! Give them a hair brush, makeup brush whatever keeps them entertained but keep them near me.

LOL! Reminds me when my now 15 year old son was maybe 3 I asked him to hurry up and come downstairs as we were going out somewhere and he yelled down that he was "doing my makeup!" I was like wtf? Apparently he thought just getting dressed was called doing your makeup. ? Also both my boys thought the car wouldn't start until I put my lipgloss (or flipgloss as they called it) on. I guess because I use to do it once we got in the vehicle since it always got stuck to my hair during the tedious task of getting everyone out the door.

Lol i do what @brooke said. We hsve hair ties on our bathroom cabinets and these weird locks on our kitchen cabinets since they dont have any handles

I shower at night after everyone's in bed.

I only use eyeliner and mascara, and I'm not even bothering to get dressed in real cloths these days. Nothing fits anymore and it's not worth the hassle.

If I want to look nice I wait for DH to get home then lock myself in the room, and barricade the door.

I shower when they're asleep or if my daughter is watching TV or playing by herself. My son will get into everything if I'm trying to shower.

Or if I'm brave I'll shower quickly while he's awake and just have him sit with a toy in the bathroom. And he still messes with everything but at least I can see him, I guess.

I do my hair and makeup while they're running around or they may sit in my faces, asking questions or trying to eat coconut oil. I either get dressed first then them or them then me. Depends on how I feel or the circumstances.

Cabinet locks and everything up high, I put a small basket of toys in each room, too.

I shower either really early or during her first nap. I do my make up in her room, sometimes she just chills and plays with her toys others she's in my make up trying to eat my brushes lol. She's 8 months now so it's a little different than a toddler.

I just have to get up before they wake up. I used to could just make sure her door was shut and she would play with her toys but now she can open her door and there's no telling what hell I would find with her alone 10-15 minutes.

I do my quick shower when they r sleeping. When I'm getting ready I have the baby gate closed, all doors but his room my room n laundry room closed. All the cabinets in bathrooms r empty except for his things that he'll stash in there to play with n a box of toys in my room so he can make his mess while I get ready. Oh I also have his fav show on too.

I wait until the kids are asleep to take a shower.

But i would just put kids proof everywhere and set him up with a activity.

If your cabinets have knobs put hair ties around them so your child can't open them.

Put them in the shower with me. Every night I take my 3 year old ( she was 2 years old less than a month ago) and 1 year old in with me. I shower then I shower them quickly then I get my 3 month old and shower with him too. It is incredibly difficult for me. I tell my 7 year old to help me watch them as much as she can but she gets distracted easily and they get into everything especially my almost 2 year old. He doesn't watch tv so there's no distracting him. It's incredibly hectic for us. :(.

I bring her in the bathroom with me and she plays in the water while I'm in the shower. She ends up with her clothes and hair wet but it's just water anyways lol

Everything that opens has those child locks my son loves showers so he sometimes sneaks in nothing like a having shampoo in your eyes from being startled by the naked toddler climbing in with you.

Muffins. My kid is 100% an inner fat kid. I give him food when I do my makeup haha no shame

Do the cabinets anyway, you can always use the interior latches and just uninstall them before you move out.

I just do it. I close the doors, put on one of his shows and he just hangs out. All of our cabinets and anything dangerous is locked. This is now that he's almost 2. When he was younger id put him in the pack n play or in the doorway jumper in the room with me

Take the stuff out of the cabinets and put it in an inaccessible place. Then he can get in the cabinets but not touch anything.

no baby proofing. well we can do the toilets, outlets and door knobs but she doesn't want us doing the cabinets and that's what he gets into the most.

I did it for 2yrs. Tough. Especially on days I was very sick and still had to be up and about with a baby.

I can't get up earlier he wakes up every time I get out of bed ? and our landlord said no to baby proofing.

I have a very easy kid I can literally shower for 30 minutes and he doesn't do anything but chill. When I want to do my hair and makeup I put him in the bathtub and have him play with toys. It only takes me like 15 minutes to get ready though.

You can get up super early and shower/get ready while they're still asleep.

That's what I do if Brandon isn't home or I want to give him a chance at some more sleep.
