I never had many friends even in school. I had a few before I got pregnant but only saw them once in a blue moon or when they needed/wanted something so got fed up! Never see anyone now. Will be moving an hours drive away soon so at least I got no friends to make it difficult lol. I do miss having girly chats though and going out to dance :/

Soon as my mates new I was pregnant 2 weeks ago thats it they dont answer my calls or texts like they use to. I try an arrange for them to come over but all say to busy till I go on facebook and see pics of them all together. It sucks cause I was always there for them. But just going to think of me and the baby and my oh now.

Before Rory I had a handful of friends who I might go out with or meet maybe 3 or 4 friends. Since having him one of those ditched me the other 3 have become even closer friends to me and iv made so many new friends. Iv got a few friends on here who I talk to all the time, met one of them and we meet at a local baby group every week also I went to a post natal group the health visitor recommended from when he was 3 weeks old we stopped going nowhere and we have a Facebook page where we will just write like 'weather's nice tomorrow will be having a picnic at the park at 12 come join us' and a load of us will turn up. We all try and meet up at least weekly too. A few weeks ago we took the babies to a parent and baby showing at the cinema to watch pitch perfect 2 and then this week we went for afternoon tea. We have just arranged a mummies night out. When my best friend ditched me I was totally gutted and hurt. My other close friends live miles away so I was so lonely. I went for coffee with her a few months ago and we bumped into some of my new friends. She seemed shocked I had other friends now as I was always the one with a small group of friends and I didn't get out much. It's all down to baby groups and this app :) embrace it! Rory has his favourite little friends too which is beyond cute. He has a toy tigger which is his comfort thing... his favourite little girl Charlotte he gives it to her when we are out. It's so cute. I know it's hard but I'm so glad I just braved it x

I'm feeling the exact same today had a s*** few weeks and my friend hasn't bothered to meet up with me for a chat, asked her to come to mine tonight but oh she's busy as always. She never asks me to do anything starting to feel so lonely just now xx

I'm in the same boat, all my friends seem to have disappeared when I got pregnant or are travelling. I've met some ladies at baby group but they're all close with each other from NCT and I didn't go to them classes :( if I remember right from a previous post I'm close by in Guildford? xx

I know this feeling too! Moved in with my husband 2 years ago now, but we're in a little town that is pretty much isolated from everywhere else going out wise because it's so far from everything. I've made friends at work, but I work in a town that's a good 20 minute drive away along dual carriages, so it's hard to organise going out with people because it's so expensive. I either drive and don't drink (not really an issue at the moment haha), or I drink then have to pay at least £20 for a taxi home. They all live close to work too so don't really get my issue ?.

Would love to meet some people in my little town, but it's so hard because they all seem to have their friends already. Signed up to the local antenatal classes hoping to meet some people like me there, but they can't run one here because the lady that does them couldn't start till sept and I'm due in August. Ended up going to a class near work, but then I have the same issue I do with work friends, even though the people I've met are lovely ?.

Hoping that once baby's here I can start parent and baby groups closer to home and actually meet people. It's so hard, and I really miss my friends from home sometimes. Doesn't want to make me move because I love it here, would just be nice to have a closer group of good friends!

I'm the same I moved away from my home town 2yrs ago with my hubby's job I have some friends but none that I could jst call for a coffee or a nite out I've not had a nite out in my new home town I go to loads of groups but like u they r all in there own little groups already and there seems no place for me? I'm 31wks pregnant so that's keeping me busy and have 3 other kids but I keep thinking they getting bigger all the time and won't have them to spend time with me for long!!!!!! I jst keep going to the groups and looking for people like me and hoping to find jst 1!!!!! ? xx

I feel completely the same. I have 2 close friends but they hVe their own lives so my days / weeks / months are spent watching Cars and playing Toot toot, covered in sick and food and feeling a tramp. I want a best friend who will come over, order a pizza and just make me feel human again ?. I get really low about it that when I do arrange something I cancel as I feel guilty about going out.

I'm the same, it's always just me and Millie and have a few 'friends' but no one who I can really trust or go on a night out with. It's lonely but I'm getting used to it plus seeing my family alot helps x
