Where's my period?
I haven't had a period in over 2 years now, and I'm starting to feel some anxiety about it. I'm sure it's just bc im still nursing, but I'm getting anxious bc I'm feeling some pms symptoms on and off (for the past few weeks) with no actual period. Anyone else in the same boat?
Update : Just got my period back yesterday & it's the worst. I honestly don't think I've ever had one this bad. It's like I'm a tween again! ?
I was wondering the same thing. I went just over a year BFing and stopped completely in December and STILL don't have a period. I am on the mini pill though so I'm guessing it's because of that. Also, if I try to squeeze milk will come out but definitely no leaking so I'm wondering if I'm still technically lactating.
Mary I think your OB might be right because I had symptoms but no period for a couple months before it came back. It would be weird to not have a period for so long. Especially since most of us count on it to say we're not pregnant each month. My fist pp period was awful, but I had awful periods before Em anyways. So sorry about the cramps. Maybe these will help or a heating pad

@Tara not on the pill but still use a bc method, plus I took a pregnancy test just to be sure & im not preggo (phew!)...I went for my annual last week & my OB thinks the symptoms may just be my body "trying to wake up" but she wanted me to get blood work done just to be sure. Haven't done it yet (who has the time?!) @lisa - isn't it weird to go so long without a period? I am mostly enjoying the break but these cramps (& bloating) are a pain!
I didn't have a period while exclusively breastfeeding. Once Makayla started eating more and more table food she started weaning down on the boob at 9 months (maybe 2-3 nursing sessions a day). I had super light spotting at that time and then BAM, pregnant again. So by the time I finish nursing this little guy it'll be over 2 years.
I've enjoyed the break but it'll definitely seem foreign when I have to start toting tampons around again.
Oh no. The first one seems the worst. Take Advil, use a heating pad if you can. Hugs
