Married. I took his last name. My maiden name was Robinson it's so common. I was happy to get something new and shorter lol. So now I'm Weiss.

When I get married, I would prefer my SO last name than mine. I'm tired of people asking me my origin or how to pronounce my last name.

Eh. Doesn't really matter. They are both uncommon and are pronounced wrong by everyone and when I correct them I get asked if I'm related to so and so (I live in a small town). Lol.

Haha.. My maiden name is short...yeah...I think I'll stick with Miller lol..my mom seemed kind of upset when I dropped Short all together but Short Miller? Really? Lol

Love my unusual maiden name, but I will take DH's awesome sounding royal name and DD will take his as well (mine: Lasater, his: Kingsnorth). They are both commonly misspelled and mispronounced, so what the hell!

When we get married his last name is super hard to pronounce and people always get it wrong. Its lageschulte Lol but mine is easy but I'll change it to his once we get married

I like my married name but ive always had the same initiates tho my married name is mitchell , my maiden is mellick. My step dad adopted me so ive had 4 last names since I was born and it gets confusing and seeing as my son has a different last name its a mess .

I've been married 8 months and still haven't changed my last name lol! I will be replacing my middle name with my maiden name though and take his last name! If I ever go change it! Lol

My maiden was Jackson, Married is Webb. We were just married in April and our courthouse takes 8 weeks to process the license so I have another couple weeks to wait before I can start changing. I will change it before baby is born so birth certificate will reflect my correct name.

I couldn't decide so I hyphenated mine. Now it's just a big pain in the ass!

Eh they're both ok. Probably my married. People don't even attempt to pronounce it or spell it, which is fine. My maiden was the same as a super popular ketchup brand but spelled slightly different. So most people just assumed that was how it spelled and it was misspelled often.

My maiden name. I only changed it when we got married because of family pressure. Wish I didn't seeing as how my SO didn't care either way. I have an odd first name and my maiden name was smith so it being so generic worked out well. Now it's just weird lol.

We're not married, but his is soooo much simpler than mine, and my dd has my maiden name. When we marry, I'll keep my maiden name as a second middle name and take his as my last.

I'm not married but we've talked about changing my last name to my SOs. I hate my last name. It's long, hard to spell and pronounce and reminds me of my father who I haven't spoken to in over 14 years. My SOs is a super easy name so I'm looking forward to it.

Both. I really do miss my maiden name. I went from a Russian last name to a German last name and for both names I have to correct people on how to spell them and say them haha.
