Heartburn help

Before I got pregnant, I took Tylenol PMs at night for heartburn so I didn't stay up all night. But now I can't take it, my mom said not to. My OB is closed so I can't call and ask but I'm not going to chance it. What helps with heartburn?

You can still take Tylenol pm. Benadryl is safe as well.

Tylenol PM is definitely safe lol. My Dr and L&D both suggested it for me.

Tylenol pm is safe. Call your OB for a prescription for Zantac. I assume you're on some type of pregnancy Medicaid, so they cover it. My heartburn with my second was so bad, even water burned.

Baking soda in water works wonders and lasts longer than tums

I drank a lot of milk and that helped

You can take the recommended dose of Tylenol PM my doctor said it was OK when I was pregnant with my son

Nothing has worked and my dad doesn't have money to buy Zantac. So I'm screwed and my mom said dot take the PMs. I did milk. No baking soda.

If nothing else works, dissolve some baking soda in hot water and slowly sip it. It tastes disgusting, but really works!

My dr says Tylenol pm is okay to take its just combo of Tylenol and Benadryl

Anyway have you tried good old fashioned milk?

I've also heard people swear that baking soda kills acid but I've never tried since that just seems yucky.

I know it does work with vinegar though

Alright I'll see if I can grab some when I leave SOs thank you ladies. I just can't really deal with the chest pain at times. I've been having acid reflux for a week or so, I knew I was going to have heartburn earlier due to the shoulder pain I get every time. But didn't think it'd be this bad.

Zantac! I am pregnant with my 4th and have taken it with every pregnancy. It's perfectly safe and works great. I take it first thing in am 30 minutes before I eat or drink coffee. You can take it 2x day and sometimes I take it before bed too. I buy the generic version and it works same as the name brand.

is it wrong to be frustrated that my daughter acts like she can't do certain things with out my help. she plays dumb a lot and I wish I could be like no girl show what you know. she acts like she can't trace or match shapes so shes ask for "mommy finger" to help her so I barely hold her hand and she magically can do it but if I dont hold her hand she just scribbles and acts like she doesnt know the pic is how she traces when I'm "helping her" otherwise it'll just be scribbles all over the page
