The pill to dry up breast milk
Has anyone taken the pill to dry up your breast milk? I've been feeding dd for almost 18 months and I don't want to feed her anymore but she has other ideas about the matter. I've tried reducing feeds but it's taking forever and I just can't do it anymore
What are some way to dry milk up I breastfeed and I don't wanna breast feed anymore
I've almost gave up on breast feeding. I gotta find something for this soreness.
Quick question to breast feeding mum i would like to breast feed my baby when she comes as I’ve never really breast fed my other 2, is it uncomfortable also how is pumping out milk????? For bottle feeds is the pump uncomfortable... I would normally just breast feed and not pump when home but I do drive so when I’m out and can’t stop I’ll have to use a bottle...I remember trying to breast feed my youngest and I keeped getting milk ducts why was that??? I think that’s why I gave up as I was scared lol
Breast feeding is a full time job I really want to give up already 😢
Could I pump breast milk and only bottle feed my baby the breast milk? My son has completely tore up my left nipple to where it has a bad sore that's bleeding. I don't want to breast feed anymore but can't afford formula and want him to have breast milk...

As in birth control pill?
My mum didn't have birth control to dry up her milk with me, but the doc gave her a prescription for a medication which dried up her milk in a day. That was over 20 years ago tho but I think u can still get it.

Just take a few Zyrtec or other antihistamine a day.

There is medication which you can discuss with your GP. I weaned my 18 month old by going from twice a day for a couple of weeks to once at night then none at all. He adjusted quicker than I thought and i was really nervous about it at the time. I was also so over it as well. I just offered a sippy cup and food and overnight just water in the sippy. He got used to it very quickly.

Yes birth control pill. I spoke with my gp this morning about it and she recommended it over the medication designed to dry it up because of the side effects

Yes I took it, made me a little sick but it worked! Within a week my milk was pretty much gone!
