Can’t you just go to the ER? They should be able to give you answers there. I wouldn’t wait until the OB appt if I were you.

I’m thinking that’s what I will do. The office is now closed for the weekend and I haven’t heard anything yet.

I know the signs sounds scary. And your friend was just trying to take precautions but it doesn’t mean there is something wrong. Also... I am thinking that if the matter was urgent, it would be escalated. So I think that’s a good sign. Try to stay calm. And yes going to ER if you’re still having symptoms may help you get answers quicker. Go with your gut. I feel for you and hope everything is Ok. ❤️

Have you heard anything yet?

Nothing yet. I’m sure I won’t hear anything until Monday. I was going to go the ER but the pain/pressure subsided and spotting stopped. I’ve been exhausted since yesterday and have been in bed since. My husband is out of the state and I am kind of afraid to go alone.

UPDATE:***

So I finally got the result back from my ultrasound Friday.. baby looks great measuring 2 days ahead with a heart rate of 167. I had to talk with my PCP who I work with since my OB hadn’t called me back. Turns out the results were sent to some other random doctor (I have no idea why) .. I have a small cyst so they think that is what is causing the bleeding. No hemorrhage though.

Great news ! Glad all is well ! I remember going to the ER for having bleeding last pregnancy and the technician was not allowed to show me the monitor or tell me if all was well. Even though at the time the baby was fine , she didn't tell me and I had to wait for the doctor to tell me results (which were good). That was frustrating because I didn't want to wait for my answers lol ... I guess they had to follow protocol though and let the mire experienced one give results to ensure accuracy. Hope the rest of your pregnancy is worry free!
