No bowel movement after c-sec
I had a c-sec on Friday. It's 4 days now and I have not had a bowel movement yet. Is this normal? I'm planning to have some milk of magnesia tomorrow. When did you mommas have a BM after your c-sec?
Short Luteal Phase? I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Having A Really Hard Time Having A Bowel Movement After An Emergency C-Section And My Belly Is Really Hurting Me
Spotting after bowel movement I turn 7 weeks tomorrow and I just noticed vaginal spotting after I had a bowel movement. I haven't had any cramps or anything but I'm still freaking out!
"One" of my worst fears of pregnancy is having an emergency c-sec due to poor decision making/or laziness/ money motivated/ personal obligations from the doc. Absolutely terrified. I've heard of docs making this a unnecessary practice - can't remember which hospital I was reading had the highest c-sec rating in the US.
No bowel movement after 5 days of csection. Taking fruits, veggies and constipation pill too. Any suggestions to induce bowel movement ladies?

Them pain meds they give u messes up your bowel movements but stool softens works everytime!!

Drink a large glass of prune juice ;) worked for me quick

Yay it happened on day 5 pp :) it was tough, but not too bad.

Finally after four days. It was so much work just to get to the bathroom and to sit on the toilet was so painful! Take care!

I have had 6 c sections the last one 5 weeks ago but the longest time it took for bowl movement was 3 days. my hospital wont let you leave untill you have bowl movement and pass wind.

I went on day five after and I'm 6 weeks pp now and my poop is finally regular I was only going like once a week and it took me a hour each time. keep taking stool softeners and lots of fiber that will help it a lot.

I had mine 2 days after but they said not to worry unless it had been a week. Are you taking stool softeners and drinking plenty of fluid?

I had my BM hours after c section... but they say it could take a few days .. not sure how many! Give it some time dnt panic yet!
