Breastfeeding
Who's still breastfeeding? And have your little babies started biting you with their sharp little teeth yet?! My son just got his first tooth and I can't get him to stop biting. Hurts so bad :(
Still bf, four teeth, two top, two bottom. She is a biter. But truly all my kids have been biters. Like a pp said, I just unlatch and relatch. My babies all stopped or were more careful after a little bit.
Sometimes she will surprise me and I will gasp or jump and she looks at me so sadly.
I do still comfort nurse but if she is obviously bored I will distract instead.
Me but no teeth yet. Her gums are strong though so it still hurts when she bites! My oldest got teeth around 10 mths and it hurt like crazy when she bit. I was so afraid to feed her and she was hesitant to nurse. One day she bit and I screamed and we both cried. Then I told her go ahead but no biting so then she latched on a min and then looked at me to say is this ok? And I told her perfect you are doing great! Then she nursed until she was 2 and never bit me again. We both almost gave up but we worked through it!
My son thinks it's hilarious too. He also loves to yank off my glasses and throw them on the floor lol. I'm going to try to make sure to put him on when he's hungry or sleepy and see if that will help.
Two bottom teeth and yea, my dd has bitten me. I shouted out no in surprise both times and pulled her off immediately and she burst into tears. Felt bad. Also realized one of the times she wasn't hungry and I knew that she was just kind of suckling/playing. I def make sure she's hungry if she's latched now.
We are and lo has one tooth. He's bitten me hard a few times and even broke the skin once. When it happens I yell owww!!! Not on purpose but just because it hurts so bad. He then starts to cry and i feel bad and hug him. but I think it has actually made him stop. He hasn't done it lately. I think he gets that he shouldn't do it.
