Spotting after sex

Hey so maybe a bit too much info but I was due my period yesterday and spotting a few days very light pink/brown. After intercourse today it was more a darker pink a bit more than just a spot. Now I have nothing! Confused ?‍♀️ the test I took today was negative. If my period is gona come i wish I would just come now as I go on holiday on Thursday ?? anyone else in or been in a similar situation? Thanks ladies baby dust to you all :)
