Someone smoking outside? I'd wash everything. And turn on fans and light some candles or some thing. I kept smelling pee and just mustiness the other day. It was driving me nuts!

We had a ton of friends over last night (no one smokes) and it was like the more ppl in my house, the stronger the smell! No one else could smell anything. It seems to have let up today thank goodness bc it was really making me crazy last night.

Mommylove- do you live in a house or apartments? If you are in an apartment it might be coming through the duct work or other crevasses in the building as another tenant out of sight is smoking? And now you can smell everything b/c you're pregnant? Just a thought- I've lived in a place in the past that did that.

We live in a house. The first day I thought it was my neighbor smoking outside, but when I kept smelling it for days I couldn't find any connection to something real. I have googled it and it's called a phantom smell but there are no ideas about how to make it stop! It could be caused by nothing or something as serious as a brain tumor! I think it's just in my head tho it's very annoying.

So sorry you have to deal with it... That is one of the worst smells! Hope it gets better soon!

MommyLove - I HATE the smell of cigarettes. Always.

One day my hubby and I got in his car (several months ago) and it smelled faintly of cig. smoke. Neither of us smoke, nor do we let ppl smoke in our cars. Actually none of our friends smoke so we could t figure it out. The next day it was even worse! We were both gagging.

DH got out of the car and looked on the floorboard...there was a nasty cigarette butt that we figure got stuck to the bottom of his shoe lol

I wish I could find something causing the smell. No one else smells it though! I didn't smell it all day until after dinner. It has progressively gotten worse since then. So nasty!

I keep smelling ciggs and I used to smoke so I know exactly how it stinks and no one around me is smoking I feel crazy sometimes but even at morning I can smell that horrible stink which makes me puke. ugh! dont get it.

See I have a dog and she goes outside never in the house but I swear all I can smell is doggy urine which I know is in my mind because I ask everyone that comes over do you smell it and everyone just looks at me really strange I ever opened my windows lit candles it doesn't go away idk what to do!! Oh and my neighbor smoked cigs I swear it is seeping threw my vents and walls omg I think I'm losing my mind at times!!
