so stressed and frustrated
My husband doesn't have a job right now and it sucks because we have no other income and it's really hard to find jobs around here. We'll my son has 4 diapers left and 1 pack of wipes. I've tried everything. Everything I try to sell not one person bothers to look at and I am out of options. I don't know what to do and I've tried to get assistance but because I am under 22 and live with my dad they won't give it to me. My dad is just expected to support me and both of my children even though I am married. It doesnt make any sense. I just don't know what to do. I have tried to sell things. I have tried to find odd jobs. I guess I just needed to vent because I am so stressed I am in tears. We just had a baby 2 weeks ago and she has diapers because I used the last of my savings to buy them. I am looking for a job as well and am trying to get daycare vouchers so I can work. I already got diapers from the diaper bank this month. So I don't know. I'm so frustrated. We have always found some way to get them what they need. Sorry for the long post. I just really needed to vent right now.
And thank you ladies so much for helping me. I really appreciate it. I'm sorry I took so long to get back to you. My phone doesn't notify me when I get a message on this app so I didn't realize you were trying to get ahold of me. So I'm sorry about that. And thank you also for the suggestions and the website link. I will take any advice you can give. Also if anyone knows of any jobs in the area of South bend/Mishawaka Indiana area that doesn't need experience, I am more than willing to look into it.
It should be easier to get a job now that I'm no longer pregnant although I don't have much experience so that doesn't help. But as soon as I'm cleared to work I plan to get a job asap. I am considering a staffing agency until I can find a permanent job.
And I'm sorry it took so long for me to respond. I was putting my son to bed and changing my daughter.
Thank you everyone. I do have a Walmart near me. Yeah I have been trying to find work but being so pregnant noone wanted to hire me and I just had 2 back to back so now that I'm finally no longer pregnant I can hopefully find something.
Where are you mama? What size diapers do you need? Do you have a Walmart near you or what is your neighborhood chain store? I would happily make an online purchase for you and arrange for an I'm store pick up in your name. I'm SO sorry you're going through this, raising babies is hard enough!!
I live close to South Bend. I don't think it's hard to get a job around here, you just have to work at whatever job you qualify for even if it's not something you're interested in or even if the pay is not what you want. To start anything is good imo.
Have you applied at fast food restaurants? They're always hiring and no experience needed for entry level. Same in many factories.
Eta- congrats on your baby! I also have a two week old. I plan on applying to work at a factory in March.
