Oh my gosh, I teach middle school too and I was thinking the same thing yesterday. My students have better skin than me! I'm EBF so I'm stuck until she's done with that :(
I have had the worst time my WHOLE pregnancy. I finally went to the dermatologist and I am on birth control and an antibiotic and a topical cream. my face is sooo much better!! I still get break outs but it's like one or two. and I feel so much better because really not only is it embarrassing but its painful! good luck I would definitely go to the dermatologist if u are not ebf.
It's hormone-driven:( I went to my dermatologist bc it got so bad at 2 mos after I had Ada that I was embarrassed to go back to work at my junior high teaching job bc my complexion was so much worse than my teenage students'!!!! She said, "That's SO from hormones...and we can't do much of anything about it til you're done breastfeeding." Sigh.. When I'm done BFing, I can go back on regular birth control (w estrogen, which helps with acne), an antibiotic that kills bacteria, and a topical gel. Til then, I'm suffering through and TRYING not to touch/pick at my face. Sooooo frustrating!!!!!
I have been gettinf terrible acne right around my jaw close to my ears. Very painful and embarrassing! My 10 year high school reunion is in december and I may not even go because of it and I am on the planning committee :(
