Update!!

As many of you know my husband is looking for a job so I can be a stay at home mom. Well, he has a phone interview today!! After the phone interview they'll probably have an in person interview then, fx, he should get the job!!! I really hope he knows something for sure this week. I think I'll only give a one week notice to my job since they don't appreciate me anyway, but that's a different story... Wish us luck!!

That's awesome! Congrats! I'm right there with ya...I've worked since I was 14 so now being a sahm is definitely a change! My dh decided he'd rather work 2 jobs than have me go back to work but my job now(besides being a sahm) is to find him a better paying job that covers all of our expenses(and hopefully more). It's a lot of work to find decent paying jobs or sometimes even jobs in general lol!

Thank you! I'm so excited that he got the job and tomorrow is my last day of work!! I've worked since I was 13 so it'll be weird for a while, but totally worth it!!

They asked him to fill out a background check!! It sounds like of that goes through they'll make an offer!! I'm so happy!!!!!!

My dh is getting really excited! We decided that my last day will be the day he starts, even if I can't give notice. I actually got promoted to bank manager and moved to a busier branch back in November and they still haven't given me my raise and they keep changing the reason every few months so they don't deserve notice. Thanks for the good luck! I'm so excited!!

Wow that's a lot of aps but it sounds like he has a great shot at it!! My dh finished his phone interview and it went great!! He has an in person interview on Friday. I wish it was today, lol. I just know he's going to get it. The only bad thing is that he'll have to drop Grayson off with me at work while he's at the interview. I'm a bank manager so hopefully we won't be too busy that day. Man I hope I get to put in my notice that day!

I hope he gets it! My husband had an interview 2 months ago for a great job, but they won't hire anyone until feb. so it is a long wait for us. They had 3000 apps and he made the top 10%. If he gets the job I will be a Sahm too.

Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk outside without this information. Children of color are being targeted and killed too. It’s not just adults. I let my son know we treat everyone equally and with respect. I let him know that we love everyone for their differences. In every aspect. Color, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual preference we love everyone.
