Still Miscarrying
I am currently going through a miscarriage but I'm trying to prepare for trying again. With my current pregnancy my hcg was 1126 on 9/11, 1012 on 9/12 and 1290 on 9/13. My first test was done out of state at a completely different lab so I've secretly hoped that it was wrong. The whole reason I went in was for light bleeding that started on the 11th. I got my progesterone results on Friday and it was 3, which the doctor said was too low to sustain the pregnancy and that I was going to miscarry. I told the few people we told we were pregnant that we were miscarrying and one of my friends told me not to give up just yet. I told her about some women taking progesterone supplements when their levels are low and she convinced me to give it a shot. My ultrasound is scheduled for tomorrow so I won't have a definite answer until then. I called my doctor yesterday and said even if I do lose this baby I want to do everything I can, so she gave me a prescription. After taking the first pill the bleeding has pretty much stopped. I hate to have false hope and I'm still prepared for bad news, but I haven't had any cramps, clots or heavy bleeding. Am I crazy to try the progesterone even though the doctor thinks it's a lost cause? Has anyone ever heard of good results from something like this? I still have pregnancy symptoms, which is expected, but I've also added new symptoms this weekend like sore boobs and a little nausea. I'm scared to have hope...

Thank you. I've had lots of time to prepare myself to hear this result. My bleeding just started again since I didn't take another progesterone pill. It's sad, but it's good to know early on. I'm passing a few clots now so hopefully soon I can try again, and so can you.
Well, it's definitely a miscarriage. The sac is considerably smaller and it should pass soon. Bad news, but I expected it so I'm ok.
I'm at the doctors office now waiting to be called back. I'm prepared for the bad news I suppose. All of you ladies have been through so much and I really appreciate the words of encouragement. I will let you guys know what I find out.
In April I had a chemical pregnancy. I found out a couple of days before af was due. Then like 4 days late all my symptoms went away. By the end of the week I was bleeding and everything. You still having symptoms is a good sign!!!! Good luck and I will pray for you this morning. :))))))

It is a tough process, I'm sorry for your loss. :( I stopped bleeding on the 21st and my DH and I are hoping to get pregnant again before my first af. I hope we can and if it happens I really hope it's a sticky lo this time. Finding out I was pregnant was the best thing that's ever happened to me and it hurt to lose my baby. Good luck to you!
