Bellamy’s pediatrician is extremely old school, so when I called for advice to help bring his fever down and told him it was 100.3, he completely freaked out and told me to bring him in.😣 Just when I thought I was doing everything right, I find out I can’t even tell the difference between a low or high grade fever. 🤦🏻 ♀ stupid Mia.🙃

At the end of the day, the doctor can make suggestions, but you have the final say. My biggest issue was that I wanted someone who understood how normal breastfeeding infants behaved and wasn't going to push formula.

My requirements were taking me seriously when I'm explaining what's going on with my child who I see daily vs the few times a year the dr sees them.
Someone who is on the same page as far as vaccines
My biggest issue has been with my son having a milk protein allergy since birth and not pushing dairy down our throats.
I've had a few Drs tell me that even with his allergy that I need to give milk. They don't like it when I say that I will not be giving milk of any sort and my son does just fine getting calcium and healthy fats from better sources.

What hospital are you affiliated with? Make sure that hospital is in network.
If your having a boy and having him circumcised talk to them about that.

Stuff like food and water isn't as important, because in the end it's your choice what you do. What is important is vaccines, circumcisions, make sure they are attentive and listen to your questions. Most doctors have little to zero training in nutrition so I take everything they say with a grain of salt
