Nene, that's so sweet! I used to sit with my dad in a rocking chair while we listened to his records together. It's one of my favorite childhood memories. Your girls are going to love looking back at these special moments with their daddy, too.

My favorite is when I walk in and the girls are piled in daddy's lap with their heads on his shoulder talking, reading or playing a game on the tablet together or when they fall asleep on the couch like this ??? he's not their biological father but he's the only father they've ever known and it just melts my heart to see how much love he has for them and even more so that they love him just as much

Murdock, my dh is on that same journey for very similar reasons. He walks on the treadmill every night trying to reach his goal. I hope he has as much success as your dh has had.

Dh is so thoughtful and thorough in the way that he speaks. His actions. He’s almost down 100 lbs, and he will tell me that his primary reason for losing weight isn’t for himself, or me... but so he can ride rides with the girls. He was so happy that he was able to fit into go carts with dd1, it was just the sweetest thing.

Today I came home from my doctors appointment just in time to watch my hubby help our neighbour bring her shopping in. She was in a bad car accident a few years ago and has difficulty walking. He then salted her driveway for her as well. I was so proud ?

I'm lying in bed listening to dh sing Father&Son (from Guardians of the Galaxy 2) to our boys while he tucks them into bed. I love him so much! ?
