What I Love About R&R!

I love that I can be at polar opposite ends of an issue with someone on one post and 100% agree with them on another. It reminds me that deep down we are more alike than we are different. And that even though our life experiences have shaped us in different ways, we can always find a common ground.

The honesty & all the different topics. I've learned a lot from here too! I do like the occasional dramatic post though ?

Keeps me in "the know" sometimes. I barely am in the circle of News and do not have a FB or other medias.

I love the handful of amazing friendships I've made with women from this app, outside the app. You ladies are my lifeline that keeps me sane (well... almost sane) ??

I don't have facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc and now that I have BB/rnr I don't need anything else...well except for Pinterest..I NEED that app..lol..but truthfully I'm content right here. We're moms from all over that literally talk about EVERYTHING..that's pretty dope imo.

I love feeling like I'm a part of something bigger- universal- (motherhood) and checking in on RnR is like getting a tiny peek into so many different and varied perspectives on it.

I love the support I see for ladies when they are really in need. Its amazing how we all come together to show how much we really care about a persons situations... I know in my case I have really sat up at night thinking and worrying about a momma that is going through a rough time ... I get back on constantly looking for updates ...

I love the way the ladies tell it like it is.. No sugar coating which is good cause some people don't have people around them to say the truth ...

I love you yaya! You're freaking awesome and probably the most supportive person on here ... You always give your best advice wether you agree with the situation or not ...

I love R&R bc it's fun. You can pick when you want to participate in something serious or silly or.. whatever. Well balanced ??

Edit: I also love that I get to come on and look forward to something. It's nice to have community I can check in with even on the ?. With two little ones I don't have the time most days to talk on the phone or meet up w friends/family. This is an easy way to get advice, find a light at the end of the tunnel, or share a recipe. Plus, some of you really crack me up and I love to laugh

Thank you all for commenting! These are all great! I loved reading ever single one of them. And from some of my very favorite BBers too!

And I do really like how you can discuss things. Even though there is honesty, it's not like FB comments where people absolutely destroy a person by commenting on looks, going through their profile pictures to post picture comments. I actually feel pretty good reading comments here, but on FB it makes me question how a person can be that ruthless.

That it helps me to be social without having to have any commitment. I can delete the app for a month and just take a break from it if I need it. Not that I can't handle it, but sometimes I need to just keep to my family as I tend to take other people's problems onto myself unintentionally.

I love that we can connect with other Mamas that if we're face to face we may have difficulty connecting because of differences, yet on here you can be more personal even if you're shy ☺️ (like me) ❤️

I love that at the end of the day we can all come together and be there for one another. When someone is having a tough time or needs prayers/ advice/ encouragement etc were all here to offer it.

I love when people are honest and real, I love how regardless of our differences we can come together on certain topics. I also love how much we all love our babies we might not all like each other but we love our kids and it's beautiful to see. There are people here I hated at one point and now I can tolerate them so that's progress ?

I'm pretty open minded about most topics, so I love seeing all the different perspectives and possibly changing my point of view.

I love the support that all you ladies give to hurting moms.

I love that we can come here and make jokes and have an awful sense of humor without getting kicked out.

I love that debates *usually* don't end up with name calling.

If I have to choose what I love *most* it's the support. You ladies all helped me through a very difficult time. It meant more than I can express in words. Even though I'm not as active as I used to be I love that I can come back and see familiar names.

B.B. 4 life! Lol.

I love that about R&R too yaya!!! Seriously one of my favorite things!

I like that this in one of the only places that hot topic issue can be discussed and they're ACTUALLY discussed. The other side isn't demeaned, talked down to, name called, etc.

It's really something you don't find often in online communities.

I love the different perspectives on topics. I always find myself thinking "I've never looked at it that way" on many different subjects. I also love that everyone here comes from different backgrounds, different cultures, even different generations, so I always feel like I'm learning something new. I've been here for over 2 years and I still learn new things every time I sit down and read posts.

I love learning about how other people think. It's absolutely fascinating. It's like virtual people watching. I also thank it's amazing how a lot of the ladies are able to disagree with another mothers choices but still remain supportive and helpful in the future. It can be like a dysfunctional family though, in this forum lol.

Having mom friends even if it's just through snap or text! I talk to a few ppl outside of the app and it's helped a lot with some of the loneliness I've struggled with since many friends and family have ditched me ?

I love how so many women on here are more than willing to give their support and advice. If a mom has a question about carseat safety, breastfeeding, feeding solids, etc. there are tons of ladies who will share their knowledge & sources. Even if it's not what the OP wants to hear, the information & opinions shared in rnr are my favorite part.

Ответить

I love how honest people usually are. I don't have to worry that you guys will tip-toe around my feelings if I need legitimate advice. It's also great lesson in how we are all able to disagree with one another and still remain "friends" afterwards. For most people at least ?

Yes! I've become much more open minded because of the very personal things people have shared. I think it brings the community closer and why so many of us have made lasting friendships through BB.

@itsamemario, you deleted your post before I could hit send but this is my comment: I don’t know if this answers your question but this is my answer. My son is 7 and he knows race and color. Why? Because he himself comes from a family that is multi racial and because he has already experienced racism. I also believe as his mother it’s my job to teach him color and the cold hard truth about society. He knows what’s going on in this world. I’d be hurting him if I allowed him to blindly walk outside without this information. Children of color are being targeted and killed too. It’s not just adults. I let my son know we treat everyone equally and with respect. I let him know that we love everyone for their differences. In every aspect. Color, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual preference we love everyone.

Share your son's names ?

Share your son's names ? So im due in 8ish weeks with a little boy but we cant find a name that we both love so please ladies comment your boys' names ! I need some inspiration ??
